Compliance Service Officer (Max Term 12 month maternity leave)

Cardinia Shire Council’s Development and Compliance Services Team has an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your skills in relation to local laws and enforcement.
Reporting to the Coordinator – Compliance Services, this fixed term position will be responsible for providing efficient and effective service across the spectrum of Local Laws activities and planning matters throughout the municipality. You will work as part of a large team, providing support and advice to other Development and Compliance Services staff as well as attending to customer queries both in person and over the phone.
To be successful in this exciting role you will have a demonstrated knowledge of the relevant legislation, with outstanding customer service and conflict resolution skills. Your experience in a similar position together with a Certificate VI in Justice or Certificate in Animal Management will assist you to excel in this role.
